The Internet
centre is used by members of all communities
living in Fushë Kosovë/Kosovo Polje

The most regular
visitors to the Community Centre in Fushë
Kosovë/Kosovo Polje are youth groups, schoolchildren
and local NGO representatives. The services that
the Community Centre offers and provides to them
are:

Internet
access through 9 networked computers;

Counselling
and preparation of documents for registration
of an NGO or for Public Benefit Status;

Mediation
between the UNMiK NGO Registration Unit and
local NGOs. This is due to the limited access
of local NGOs to the unit;

Hosting
and advocating capacity-building activities
such as project implementation, fundraising
and negotiation with donors;
-
Mediation
and support to international NGOs in project
implementation and identification of local partners;
-
Organising
training courses on different topics, or providing
logistical support and a venue to organisations
preparing such training events themselves;
-
Logistical/technical
support to local NGOs and community representatives
such as: photocopying, using of computers/Internet,
telephone/fax, meeting room.
Interested
NGOs can benefit from an excellent advisory service
from the Centre staff, on various topics, such
as writing project proposals, fundraising matters,
how to contact donors and other NGOs.
